Relax Gaming expands presence in Greek market following Interwetten deal
RELAX GAMING has further expanded its presence in the Greek market upon signing a deal with operator Interwetten.
Founded in 1990, Interwetten became the second company in the world to offer sports betting online and has grown considerably over the last two decades, offering a host of betting options including live casino, skill games and online casino.
As a result of the deal, Interwetten customers in Greece will now have the opportunity to enjoy Relax Gaming’s extensive portfolio of top-performing slots including Beast Mode, Temple Tumble and runaway hit, Money Train during an initial roll out.
In addition to the aforementioned proprietary content, players will also have access to a wide selection of titles released by Relax Gaming’s Silver Bullet and Powered By Relax partners.
Marking the latest new market entry for the leading provider, Relax Gaming was awarded an iGaming Supplier Licence by the Hellenic Gaming Commission at the start of 2023 after the regulator moved to a new online gambling licensing system in 2021.
“We are absolutely thrilled to have signed this deal with Interwetten, there are very few operators out there that have the history and influence that they are able to boast,” said Relax Gaming chief commercial officer Nadiya Attard. “We could not have asked for a better partner to deliver our award-winning content portfolio to players in Greece.”
Mario Bilic, head of product management, content and CRM at Interwetten, said: “Relax Gaming are synonymous with top quality content, and that’s exactly what we want to offer our loyal Greek players. We look forward to a long and successful partnership with the studio going forward.”
