Double Lucky Mushrooms DoubleMax by Yggdrasil & Reflex Gaming
YGGDRASIL and Reflex Gaming are looking to chase the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow in their latest collaboration, Double Lucky Mushrooms DoubleMax.
The 5×3, 20 payline slot is adapted from Reflex Gaming’s original Lucky Mushrooms title. It has a distinctly Irish feel, with leprechaun hats, pots of gold, and colourful Gaelic runes acting as symbols, while the game’s bonus round is enhanced by Yggdrasil’s popular Game Engagement Mechanic (GEM) DoubleMax.
During the base game, if a Wild Clover lands on the reels, it will expand to fill the entire column. When three or more Free Spins symbols land, at least eight free spins are awarded.
Throughout the bonus, any mushroom symbol that lands in view will reveal a mystery surprise, while the Lady Luck symbol can land on the fifth reel. Every time she appears, her multiplier will double, with the value starting at 2x, for huge win potential. Any mushroom prize will also be multiplied by her value if they are both present.
In addition, Double Lucky Mushrooms DoubleMax offers a Wishing Well Bonus. If three or more Wishing Well icons land on a single spin, players will have an interactive choice of wells, which can award a cash value, depending on the contents of the chosen bucket.
In certain jurisdictions, players can purchase the bonus, which will then award either the Free Spins or Wishing Well round.
Double Lucky Mushrooms DoubleMax is powered by GATI, Yggdrasil’s state-of-the-art technology enabling partners to employ the preconfigured, regulation-ready, standardised development toolkit to consistently produce cutting-edge content followed by rapid distribution.
“Double Lucky Mushrooms DoubleMax combines a fan-favourite theme with one of our most exciting GEMs,” said Yggdrasil head of product & programs Stuart McCarthy. “Our partnership with Reflex Gaming repeatedly delivers popular, engaging hits through the YG Masters program, and we look forward to another fantastic title joining our portfolio.”
Mat Ingram, chief product officer at Reflex Gaming, said: “Our original game, Lucky Mushrooms, was and is a hugely successful multichannel game, and nostalgia makes going back to classic games very appealing.
“This game has been updated with modern innovations including the DoubleMax mechanic. As a result, the game becomes much more volatile and will appeal to a broader audience.”
