Light & Wonder adds content from Rogue to OpenGaming platform through Playzido
LIGHT & WONDER has entered an agreement with up-and-coming independent games studio Rogue, bringing more new worlds of play to its operator network through the OpenGaming content aggregation platform.
As part of the agreement, Light & Wonder customers will gain access to Rogue’s high-quality and unique games featuring new and exciting game mechanics such as FUSION REELS and TSUNAMI REELS.
Expected to go live in the second half of 2023, Rogue titles are being delivered to the OpenGaming platform through Playzido technology. The Light & Wonder-owned content creation platform allows independent studios to develop and rapidly deploy exciting and localized content.
Rogue has set its sights on creating innovative mechanics within its stand-out slot products, consistently delivering a distinctive gaming experience in each new game title, with in-built responsible gaming tools.
This agreement represents the latest step by Light & Wonder in solidifying OpenGaming as one of the world’s leading digital casino ecosystems.
“We greatly admire Rogue’s dedication to providing some of the most unique and exciting games coming into the market and the rapid progress that the studio has made in such a short space of time,” said Light & Wonder digital partnerships director Steve Mayes. “We are confident that this latest agreement will further enhance the reputation of OpenGaming for delivering a wide variety of casino entertainment designed to engage with audiences across the world.
“It further demonstrates the power of our development platform in helping to quickly bring to market the most dynamic content available from the industry’s true innovators.”
John Parsonage, CCO at Rogue, said: “This agreement has been driven by our commitment to providing games with mechanics that stand out from the crowd and which present players with a fresh and exciting experience.
“Light and Wonder’s OpenGaming platform provides us with instant and extensive global distribution to allow us to deliver our games to new operators in new markets. We look forward to players all over the world interacting with our content. CHANGE THE GAME and go ROGUE.”
